About Sobany & Sons

Established in 1992 and incorporated in Port Louis on 25 June 1999, Sobany & Sons Co. Ltd is an electrical and electronic engineering company serving both the public and private sectors. We are a single point of contact for road-safety and traffic-signal work — supplying the equipment, installing it, and keeping it running.

Since 1992 we have supplied, installed and maintained more than 350 complete traffic-signal sets across the island — including the signalling and control system of the Mauritius Metro Express. Our engineers are on call around the clock, so the systems that keep roads moving are never left unattended.

Our vision To bring new technology to Mauritius' roads — building a transport network that is safer, faster, cleaner, more economical and more reliable for everyone who travels.
